PNN is looking for a chairman

Activities

As chair of PNN, you are the face of our organization. You:

  • Represents PNN in discussions with, among others, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, political parties, UNL and NWO
  • Monitors the organization's course and provides strategic input on PhD policy
  • Guides and supports the other board members in their portfolios
  • Acts as a connecting force within the board and with external partners
  • Are you aware of everything that is happening around promotion in the Netherlands?

What do we ask of you?

  • You are a PhD candidate at a Dutch university or UMC
  • You are socially involved, have strong communication skills and enjoy working together
  • You dare to take the lead and know how to inspire people
  • You have a vision and know how to translate this into action and policy
  • You are available for an average of 20 hours per week (with flexibility during busy periods)
  • You speak and write good Dutch and English
  • You enjoy fulfilling a representative role and making contact with various organizations
