PNN is seeking a passionate and dedicated Vice Chair/Secretary to represent the interests of PhD students at the national level. In this key role you will talk to politicians, universities and trade unions to make a concrete impact on PhD policy, employment conditions and social security. This flexible board position, which can be combined with your PhD program, offers the opportunity to build a valuable network, gain strategic and organizational experience and contribute to the academic community. We are looking for a current PhD candidate at a Dutch university or UMC with a good command of the Dutch language, who is ready to act as a connecting force within our board and to external partners. Are you a PhD student with an affinity for finance and a drive to further professionalize PNN? We are looking for a Finance and Organizational Development Board Member, also treasurer, who wants to have direct influence on PNN's direction. In this role you manage finances, prepare the budget and play a key role in the implementation of an OCW grant, while developing valuable administrative skills and expanding your network, all flexible in addition to your PhD program.

The NWO Domain Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) offers PhD students the opportunity to temporarily gain relevant work experience as a policy officer all year round. An interesting way to get acquainted with the funds and work intensively in a team for a while. In addition, it ensures a pleasant interruption of your PhD process.
