What We Stand For
In order to clarify PNN's position, we have developed three general focal points that are inextricably linked to PNN. Furthermore, more detailed problem statements, positions and objectives have been formulated for each portfolio; these can be found in our strategic plan.
General members meeting (GMM)
During the general members meeting (GMM) of PNN, the policy of PNN is determined in consultation with our members, the local PhD organizations (POs). In addition, the GMM provides the PNN board with the opportunity to gather information about PhD candidate policies at various institutions and potential bottlenecks. Representatives of the POs and the PNN board meet four times a year.
Advisory Board
The PNN board is supported by an Advisory Board. The Advisory Board acts as a sounding board for the board and consists of members with expertise in the field of science policy, governance, and advocacy. The current Advisory Board consists of the following members: Anneke Kastelein, Sicco de Knecht, and Lidwien Poorthuis
