A recent study by Tamarinde Haven highlights practices that supervisors should do to foster a responsible supervisory climate. Practices focus both on fostering responsible research practices, such as evaluating the research relevance or normalizing discussions on ethics, as well creating a psychological safe relationship to allow for discussing dilemmas or mistakes. Haven highlights the importance of having a relationship with mutual trust in which open discussion on responsible research practices is possible. Recommended read!
