On Thursday, February 20, PNN chair Lucille Mattijssen participated in the panel discussion at the presentation of Floris Cohen's book "The Ideal University." Before the discussion, she was given the opportunity to briefly discuss how Floris Cohen designed the PhD system at The Ideal University.

Today (February 4, 1:45 PM), grant-based PhD students from the University of Groningen (RUG) are presenting their manifesto against the PhD Scholarship Program experiment to the House of Representatives.

VAWO members voted overwhelmingly in favor of the merger with the General Education Union (AOb) . Of all votes cast, 97% were in favor. AOb members also approved the merger. This means that, starting January 1, 2020, the interests of VAWO members will be represented by the AOb.

This Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019, PhDs at the University of Groningen (RUG) and the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) demand the abolishment of the experiment with PhD Scholarship students.
